Eliassen Group is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT delivery teams. You will translate business needs into actionable requirements, support project delivery, and ensure IT investments align with business objectives in a remote environment.

The role emphasizes independent work, strong communication, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive execution and value realization within a transforming organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Business Analysis experience supporting technology initiatives.
• Strong facilitation and requirements gathering experience.
• Experience documenting processes, workflows, use cases, or functional requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with software development or technology transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies.
• Exposure to project management and PMO environments.
• Collaboration with developers, QA, infrastructure, and business leaders.
• Knowledge of process improvement and operational excellence.
• Experience in engineering, utility, manufacturing, or similar organizations.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with business and IT stakeholders and facilitate discussions, workshops, and discovery sessions.
• Act as a trusted advisor to challenge assumptions and drive productive conversations.
• Help partners understand technology capabilities and alignment to objectives.
• Elicit, document, and validate business, functional, and process requirements.
• Translate needs into clear requirements, process flows, workflows, user stories, and documentation.
• Ensure requirements align with goals and measurable outcomes.
• Partner with Project Management and IT leadership to support execution.
• Collaborate with development, technical leads, and stakeholders through the lifecycle.
• Assist with solution reviews, UAT activities, and implementation planning.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and roadblocks early.
• Evaluate current processes and recommend improvements.
• Mature intake, requirements management, stakeholder engagement, and governance processes.
• Balance improvement initiatives with established practices and culture.
