Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Business Analyst to join a leading technology services organization in a fully remote environment. The BA will work with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, analyze processes, and drive initiatives that boost operational efficiency and performance.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of BA experience, strong requirements gathering, process mapping, and proficiency with Agile or Waterfall.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
Strong experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
Proficiency with process mapping, workflow analysis, and documentation tools.
Experience working within Agile and/or Waterfall project environments.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across multiple departments.
Facilitate meetings, workshops, and interviews to identify business needs and process improvements.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories for technical teams.
Perform data analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for operational enhancements.
Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business leaders to support successful project delivery.
Create process flows, business cases, and documentation to support organizational initiatives.
Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet business objectives.
