Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Business Analyst to join a leading technology services organization in a fully remote role. You will gather requirements, analyze processes, and translate needs into actionable specs for technical teams, driving efficiency and performance.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in a BA or similar analytical role, experience with Agile/Waterfall environments, and strong stakeholder communication skills. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Proficiency with gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
• Strong skills in process mapping, workflow analysis, and documentation tools.
• Experience working within Agile and/or Waterfall project environments.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across multiple departments.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and interviews to identify business needs and process improvements.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories for technical teams.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for operational enhancements.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business leaders to support successful project delivery.
• Create process flows, business cases, and documentation to support organizational initiatives.
• Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet business objectives.
