Job summary

Magnus Management Group LLC is seeking a Business Analyst to support the USDA Client Experience Center (CEC) in a remote capacity. The role leads requirements gathering, process mapping, and performance metrics to streamline IT initiatives and service delivery across the division.

The candidate will conduct enterprise-level analyses, identify gaps, and develop sustainable improvements aligned with government best practices. Collaboration with stakeholders across CEC is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, or IT service management.
• Experience gathering requirements, mapping processes, and documenting workflows.
• Strong understanding of ITIL concepts and enterprise process methodologies.
• Ability to create descriptive process maps and management-level summaries.
• Experience benchmarking metrics and developing performance measures.
• Excellent communication for facilitating sessions and documentation.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and federal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate gaps in existing processes and develop sustainable improvements and standards.
• Conduct holistic reviews of business processes for enterprise alignment and best practices.
• Provide recommendations for operational and project process improvements with benchmarking insights.
• Manage, document, and implement approved organizational process changes.
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders across the USDA CEC.
• Translate requirements into documented system processes and workflows.
• Prepare process maps and management summaries aligned with projects.
• Support planning, reporting, and management of process improvement initiatives.
• Produce written deliverables using standard contracting terminology.
• Track effectiveness of improvements with data-driven justification.
