Job summary

Chenega MIOS is seeking an Intermediate Business Analyst for a remote role supporting the National Park Service. You will bridge business needs and technical solutions, analyzing requirements, processes, and data to drive improvements and inform decision making.

Responsibilities include requirements gathering, stakeholder facilitation, process analysis, and creating user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria. Background checks will be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience providing business analysis, operational analysis, consulting, or process improvement support.
• Experience gathering, documenting, and managing business and functional requirements.
• Experience supporting software development, implementation, modernization, or operational support initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Information Technology, Public Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Gather, document, analyze, and validate business and functional requirements.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, interviews, workshops, and working sessions to understand goals and priorities.
• Analyze processes, workflows, reporting capabilities, and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop business requirements, functional requirements, user stories, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Support software enhancement and modernization initiatives through requirements analysis and stakeholder engagement.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure delivered solutions align with objectives.
• Prepare reports, briefs, and status updates for leadership.
