Job summary
Xcelerate Solutions is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to support Secure Enterprise IT Modernization projects in a remote capacity throughout the United States. You will translate complex business needs into Epics, User Stories, and acceptance criteria within an Agile framework, ensuring compliance with security standards.
Ideal candidates have 5+ years in enterprise software analysis, strong Jira/Confluence skills, SQL familiarity, and experience mapping processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years as Business Analyst or Systems Analyst in enterprise software development.
- 3+ years within Agile (Scrum/Kanban).
- Experience using Jira and Confluence (or Azure DevOps).
- Proficient in process mapping and modeling tools; SQL familiarity.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements.
- Translate goals into Epics, User Stories, and measurable Acceptance Criteria for Agile teams.
- Facilitate backlog grooming, story mapping, and prioritization with Product Owners.
- Ensure requirements map to system capabilities, constraints, and test cases.
