Perle Systems is hiring a freelance Burmese transcriptionist for a remote role. You will transcribe two-speaker audio with speaker labels and timestamps, delivering accurate, fully-edited transcripts.

The project requires daily output targets and a reliable internet connection. Required are native or near-native Burmese skills, strong Burmese writing, independence, and a willingness to pass a qualification test.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Burmese (spoken and written).
• Strong written Burmese with accurate spelling, punctuation and grammar.
• Ability to work independently and meet daily output targets.
• Access to a computer with a stable internet connection.
• Availability for at least 4 hours per day.
• Candidates must pass a qualification test.

Responsibilities

• Transcribe 2-speaker, channel-separated audio recordings in Burmese.
• Produce clean, accurate transcripts with speaker labels and timestamps.
• Label turns as Speaker 1 or Speaker 2 and place HH:MM:SS timestamps.
• Ensure transcripts are sequential with no unexplained gaps.
