Job summary

CLEAResult is seeking a Building Science Analyst to work remotely from Michigan. The role focuses on desktop verifications, training trade allies, and ensuring adherence to program specifications and DoE standards.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in related fields, a BS in Building Science, and BA-P or ability to obtain within 60 days. Excellent communication and documentation skills are essential, with knowledge of Energy Star, AHRI, and Salesforce a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience in HVAC, residential construction, building maintenance or related field.
• Bachelor’s in Building Science or related program preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building science and applications required.
• BA-P certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of employment required.
• Excellent communication, organizational, mathematical, and documentation skills; meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct desktop project verifications and ensure Trade Ally adherence to program, DoE, and state standards.
• Develop and deliver technical training for internal and external participants.
• Act as technical spokesperson and approve communications to partners and clients.
• QC complex measure and modeling runs and develop interpretation protocols.
• Provide building science adjustments to measures from contractors and review documents for technical accuracy.
• Attend required program meetings and training courses.
