Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Build Systems Engineer to design and scale the infrastructure that powers our software construction processes. You will be the link between development and operations to keep large-scale monorepos fast, reproducible, and reliable through advanced tooling.

You will architect build pipelines with Bazel, optimize performance via caching and remote execution, govern monorepo structures, and orchestrate CI/CD workflows with Buildkite while collaborating with engineering teams

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in Build Engineering or related roles.
Experience with Bazel or similar build tools for large-scale systems.
Experience managing monorepo tooling at scale.

Responsibilities

Architect and maintain efficient build pipelines using Bazel for large-scale projects.
Optimize build performance and developer productivity with caching and remote execution.
Design and govern monorepo structures for clean dependency management.
Implement hermetic and reproducible build environments to eliminate inconsistencies.
Orchestrate CI/CD workflows using Buildkite to automate testing and deployment.
Collaborate with engineering teams to define best practices for build safety and tooling.
