Job summary

Apexon is seeking a Build and Release Engineer to work remotely with our global team. You will design and maintain secure, reusable CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, manage artifacts, and support end-to-end software delivery across development, testing, staging, and production environments.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Azure DevOps experience, AZ-400 certification, and strong skills in YAML pipelines, Git, and cross‑platform build agents. Remote work flexibility is offered.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Repos, Pipelines and Artifacts.
• Ability to design multi-stage YAML pipelines from scratch and troubleshoot build failures.
• Experience administering Repos permissions, branch policies and PR rules.
• Strong knowledge of Git workflows, branching, merging, and history recovery.
• Proficiency in PowerShell and/or Bash for automation.

Responsibilities

• Administer Azure Repos repositories, permissions, and branch security.
• Define branching strategies and PR workflows; enforce policies.
• Create and maintain multi-stage YAML pipelines for build, test, package, and deployment.
• Design reusable templates across repositories and manage template versions.
• Configure and maintain self-hosted build agents and agent pools.
• Troubleshoot build failures and optimize CI/CD performance.
