Own the Build. Automate the Release. Accelerate Delivery. We're seeking a hands‑on Senior DevOps Engineer who specializes in build and release engineering, CI/CD automation, and cloud‑native application delivery. You'll own the path from code commit to production for .NET applications running on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), designing reliable pipelines that enable faster, safer, and more frequent deployments. This role is ideal for someone with deep experience in Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, and trunk-based development who enjoys working directly with development teams to eliminate bottlenecks and make deployments predictable.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions for .NET applications and services.
- Own build and release management, including versioning, artifact promotion, deployment automation, and release standards.
- Implement trunk‑based development practices, including automated PR validation, short‑lived branches, feature flags, and continuous integration.
- Build progressive deployment strategies for AKS, including blue/green, canary releases, automated health checks, and rollbacks.
- Manage Docker container builds, Azure Container Registry, and container image optimization.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and Kubernetes deployments using Terraform, Bicep, Helm, and related tools.
- Integrate security scanning, dependency checks, secrets management, and compliance controls into delivery pipelines.
- Improve pipeline performance, build reliability, automated testing, and developer feedback cycles.
- Monitor deployment health and delivery performance using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Prometheus, Grafana, and DORA metrics.
- Partner with developers to troubleshoot build and deployment issues, improve release practices, and streamline delivery.
- Participate in incident response, root‑cause analysis, and continuous platform improvements.
