Job summary

ProPower is hiring a DevOps Engineer to automate CI/CD across cloud (Azure) and on-prem environments. You will build pipelines, manage version control, and partner with development and infrastructure teams to ensure scalable, secure deployments.

The role requires 5+ years in IT and strong Azure, .NET, and scripting skills. This is a fully remote position with occasional Lansing Office presence for Michigan residents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Five or more years in IT roles including software development, infrastructure, or DevOps.
• Two or more years with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, Azure DevOps, Nexus/Artifactory, NPM, Datadog.

Responsibilities

• Automate build, integration, testing, and deployment processes.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD scripts and pipelines in .NET/Azure environments.
• Manage version control to support continuous deployment and zero-downtime releases.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams on configuration management.
• Support risk, regulatory, and audit processes for software development.
• Promote continuous delivery and automation across teams.
• Ensure resilient, scalable, and maintainable deployment environments.
• Provide advanced support for pipelines across multiple projects.
• Monitor Azure resource usage and cost optimization opportunities.
• Assist with cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure deployment.
