Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or related field and/or 3+ years of financial or operational analysis
• Ability to identify and analyze financial issues and recommend solutions
• Excellent oral and written presentation skills, able to present financial information clearly and concisely
• Detail oriented in developing financial spreadsheets and ensuring accuracy with robust quality controls
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint to analyze, track, persuade, or recommend

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze annual Budget submissions for client Staff Departments to ensure alignment with targets and priorities
• Present monthly financial performance results and coordinate with departments to identify offsets and trends
• Review resource requests and prepare recommendations based on budget, staffing assessments, and approvals
• Ensure proper consolidation of department submissions in BudgetPro for the Budget Book and Board presentations
• Coordinate with multiple departments to develop recommendations and monitor the impact of economic conditions on revenues and expenses
• Participate in committees and projects representing the agency’s financial interests
