National Park Service in Alaska Region, Denali National Park and Preserve, is seeking a Budget Analyst at the full performance level (GS-11). The selected duty location will be Apostle Islands National Lakeshore, where you will lead and manage the park-wide budget using Excel and financial software, collaborating with program managers to draft annual budgets.

The role includes preparing formulation sheets, status reports, and managing the Comprehensive Call submission and Recreation Fee Plan,

Qualificações

• Requires submitting transcript(s) to support education claimed; unofficial transcripts acceptable but official transcripts required upon hire if education used to qualify.
• Foreign Education must be evaluated for equivalence to U.S. education.
• Must meet education substitution requirements as applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Leads development, preparation, formulation, revision, and execution of the parkwide budget using financial software and Microsoft Excel.
• Manages parkwide budget status of funds and account allocations.
• Serves as budget analyst for two divisions.
• Collaborates with program managers to develop annual budgets.
• Prepares formulation sheets and status of funds reports.
• Manages and completes the park's Service wide Comprehensive Call submission.
• Completes and monitors the park's Recreation Fee Comprehensive Plan.
• Ensures the park meets maintenance and funds carryover targets.
• Monitors the park's Concession Franchise Fee cashflow plan.
• Conducts analysis of budget data to show trends and support management decisions.
