Job summary

Catena Labs is seeking a BSA Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day BSA/AML and Sanctions program for the Trust Bank, reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer. You will own onboarding, monitoring, screening, investigations, and regulatory reporting, and you will grow the analyst team as part of building a regulated finance function at the intersection of AI, stablecoins, and banking.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on BSA/AML/Sanctions experience in a bank, trust company, or regulated fintech.
• Direct ownership of CIP/CDD/EDD, transaction monitoring, OFAC screening, and SAR filing.
• Strong knowledge of BSA/AML laws, FinCEN regs, OFAC rules, and Travel Rule recordkeeping.
• Experience tuning transaction monitoring and sanctions screening systems; manage alert/workflow.
• Clear writing and examination-ready documentation; investigative judgment.

Responsibilities

• Own client onboarding, including know-your-business onboarding and due diligence for new clients.
• Lead ongoing monitoring with risk-based CDD refresh and transaction monitoring for fiat and digital assets.
• Operate sanctions screening and risk screening with reporting.
• Investigate suspicious activity and manage regulatory reporting and record-keeping.
• Prepare management and Board reporting for the areas you own.
• Maintain funds-transfer and Travel Rule compliance across all transaction types.
• Design and deliver BSA/AML and Sanctions training; support training for management and the Board.
• Supervise and grow the BSA/AML analyst team and support independent testing and examinations.
