Audacy Buffalo seeks a Promotions Technician for outside field broadcast work. This role supports the Promotions and Programming departments, ensuring branding equipment and fleet are ready for live events.

The position involves operating and engineering live remote broadcasts with IP tech, setting up a live performance studio, and serving as FOH sound for on-site performances in Buffalo, NY. The candidate should be hands-on, capable of quick troubleshooting, and work well under pressure.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age.
• Hands-on experience with industry-standard production gear is valued.
• Self-starter with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure on-location.
• Customer-service oriented attitude.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to provide MVRC and insurance proof if using own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Maintain readiness of all promotional equipment and station vehicles.
• Develop and maintain procedures for broadcast equipment.
• Engineer and execute live remote broadcasts using IP technology.
• Set up and operate a live performance studio as FOH sound engineer.
• Be the go-to person for remote broadcast vans with generators and masts.
• Assist with setup and repair of broadcast gear and office equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
