Job summary

NASCAR is seeking a Remote Broadcast Engineer to lead setup, operation, and troubleshooting of live and recorded NASCAR event transmissions from remote locations. You will manage critical feeds across venues and production facilities to ensure uninterrupted coverage.

Candidates should have 6+ years in broadcast engineering, an associate degree, and experience with RTS Intercom, HD routers, Grass Valley, and Calrec systems.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• Minimum of six (6) years’ experience and/or training in Broadcast Engineering; mobile production truck experience preferred.
• Proficient on Company-provided hardware and software; knowledge of RTS Intercom, Evertz/Grass Valley routers, Grass Valley switchers, Calrec audio.

Responsibilities

• Lead setup, configuration, testing, and operation of broadcast transmission systems for NASCAR events from remote locations.
• Manage and validate transmission paths between race venues, production facilities, and broadcast partners.
• Diagnose and resolve complex broadcast engineering and networking issues in high-pressure live environments.
• Configure and support broadcast infrastructure including intercom, routers, Tally/GPI, and DANTE audio networks.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of remote broadcast equipment; coordinate with vendors.
• Support redundancy and disaster recovery, including backup transmission and ASI pathways.
