Job summary

Arnold & Itkin LLP is seeking a detail-oriented Briefing Lawyer to support its trial teams on high-profile, nationwide litigation. This full-time role can be based in the Dallas office or performed remotely from anywhere in the United States.

Requirements include a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school, bar licensure in good standing, and 2+ years of civil-law experience (or 1 year as a judicial clerk). Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365; Filevine, SharePoint, and Teams are preferred.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Member in good standing of any state bar.
• Minimum of two years’ post-law school experience at a civil law firm OR one year in a judicial clerkship.

Responsibilities

• Research, prepare, and draft motions, responses, petitions, complaints, and complex demand letters.
• Conduct legal research and review case documents across varied jurisdictions.
• Draft briefs and memoranda on contested issues during litigation and trial.
• Travel to attend trials as needed (approximately 2-4 times per year).
