The ideal candidate is an excellent writer, strategic thinker, and team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and crafts compelling arguments to achieve successful outcomes. Position offers a salary of $85K–$110K.

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school is required.
• Active member in good standing of a U.S. state bar.
• Minimum 2 years of post-law-school civil litigation experience or relevant judicial clerkship.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive legal research on complex civil litigation matters.
• Draft and revise motions, responses, briefs, memoranda, and other substantive legal documents.
• Prepare petitions, complaints, and other pleadings.
• Draft complex demand letters and affirmative motions.
• Research and apply state and federal procedural rules and substantive law across multiple jurisdictions.
• Review case files, records, discovery, and other materials to identify relevant facts and legal issues.
• Analyze complex or unfamiliar legal topics and translate findings into clear, persuasive written arguments.
• Provide briefing and legal-writing support to trial attorneys throughout litigation.
• Prepare time-sensitive briefs and other filings during trial when necessary.
• Manage multiple assignments and competing deadlines in a fast-paced litigation environment.
• Collaborate with attorneys and other legal professionals while also working independently with minimal supervision.
• Travel occasionally to support trials, meetings, or other case-related needs.
