Thimble Alterations LLC is seeking experienced alteration specialists to tailor bridal and formalwear. You will alter wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, and other gowns, perform fittings, and communicate timelines clearly.

This is a work-from-home independent contractor role with local client requests routed through the platform. You will enjoy flexible scheduling and opportunities to grow repeat clients and reviews on your profile.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience with bridal and/or women's formalwear alterations.
• Strong garment construction knowledge and precision measuring.
• Machine and hand sewing proficiency.
• Professional communication and customer service.

Aufgaben

• Alter wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, and mother-of-the-bride/groom dresses (hemming, bustle, bodice/waist, straps, cups, zippers).
• Work with structured bridal gowns (multiple layers, lace, beading, linings, boning/tulle).
• Conduct fittings, take precise measurements, and communicate timelines clearly.
• Deliver high-quality finishing and maintain an organized workspace suitable for fittings.
