Job summary

Thimble Alterations is seeking independent alteration professionals to specialize in bridal and women's formalwear. You will work with wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, and other formal dresses, providing high-quality fittings and alterations.

This is an independent contractor role that allows for flexibility and local client requests through our platform. Previous experience in bridal alterations and excellent communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with bridal and/or women's formalwear alterations.
• Strong garment construction knowledge and precision measuring skills.
• Proficiency in both machine and hand sewing.

Responsibilities

• Alter wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, and mother-of-the-bride/groom dresses.
• Conduct fittings and take precise measurements.
• Deliver high-quality finishing and maintain an organized workspace.
