Thimble Alterations LLC is seeking an experienced alterations specialist to work remotely as an independent contractor. You will alter bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses, and other formalwear, taking precise measurements and delivering high-quality finishing.

You’ll handle structured gowns, fittings, timelines, and communicate clearly with clients. This role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to build repeat client relationships through your profile on the platform.

Competenze

• Proven experience with bridal and/or women's formalwear alterations.
• Strong garment construction knowledge and precise measuring skills.
• Machine sewing and hand sewing proficiency.
• Professional communication and customer service abilities.

Mansioni

• Alter wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, and mother-of-the-bride/groom dresses (hemming, bustle, bodice/waist, straps, cups, zippers).
• Work with structured bridal gowns (multiple layers, lace, beading, linings, boning/tulle).
• Conduct fittings, take precise measurements, and communicate timelines clearly.
• Deliver high-quality finishing and maintain an organized workspace suitable for fittings.
• Receive requests for prom dresses, evening gowns, cocktail dresses, suits, and other formalwear.
