Job summary

Cella by Randstad Digital seeks an experienced packaging designer to join our in-house agency team. You will translate brand strategy into production-ready design intents, guiding color management, typography, and layout from concept through print-ready files.

This role emphasizes collaboration with Brand Lead, Design Project Manager, and regional teams, with daily work across packaging, shopper assets, and sustainability-by-design initiatives; remote US-based, EST alignment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of FMCG/CPG packaging design experience.
• Strong portfolio showing design-to-print excellence.
• Translate brand strategy into production-ready design intents.
• Expertise in color management, prepress, and proof/print checks.
• Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Solid visual identity, typography, layout, and storytelling.
• Experience with regulated product categories.
• Familiar with 3D visualization tools and annotation tools.
• Ability to lead, influence, and collaborate with designers and partners.
• Experience improving design workflows and standards.
• Sustainability principles applied to packaging.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Brand Lead on project prioritization and design workflow improvements.
• Co-develop clear design intent briefs and contribute to efficient processes.
• Partner with Design Project Manager to deliver projects on time and with excellence.
• Track and integrate trends into packaging development and shopper assets.
• Work daily with Design Realization, adaptive designers, and print production.
• Lead color/print feasibility and support press approvals, documenting learnings.
• Collaborate with regional teams on regulations, languages, and supply constraints.
