Job summary

Co–Star is seeking a talented visual designer for a freelance, part-time role that shapes how the brand appears beyond the app through campaigns and editorial work.

You will partner with leadership on visual storytelling across earned and owned channels, delivering expressive design that feels distinct and next-level. The role is fully remote with room to grow and long-term collaboration potential.

Qualifications

• Senior IC with 5–8 years in expressive graphic design across print and digital
• Strong typography and composition as core skills
• Ability to direct campaigns and shape campaigns, not just produce assets
• Deep knowledge of visual culture in art, fashion, publishing, music and the internet

Responsibilities

• Design campaign visuals from concept to finished assets
• Apply editorial design sensibility to owned channels (email, blog, campaigns)
• Develop expressive visual systems that move beyond corporate aesthetics
• Partner with marketing on the look and feel for earned and owned media
• Collaborate asynchronously with a small, fast-moving team
