Job summary

Hireframe is seeking a dedicated bookkeeper to manage day-to-day bookkeeping for a portfolio of small-business clients. You will maintain ledgers in QuickBooks Online, categorize transactions, and perform weekly maintenance to keep books current.

The role offers hands-on training, SOPs, and direct access to the owner. Ideal candidates have startup experience, strong accounting fundamentals, and are self-motivated, organized, and clear communicators.

Qualifications

• Solid bookkeeping fundamentals and strong drive to learn.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
• Experience in a startup or early-stage environment.
• Self-motivated with initiative to own tasks and meet deadlines.
• Responsive, organized and a clear communicator.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting for a portfolio of small-business clients, aiming for full independence after training.
• Maintain accurate general ledgers for multiple clients in QuickBooks Online.
• Categorize transactions and keep books current with weekly maintenance tasks.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and other balance sheet accounts.
• Support full-cycle accounting, including month-end close for each client.
• Follow and help refine internal SOPs as processes mature.
• Flag discrepancies or missing documents early and communicate clearly with the owner.
