The ideal candidate will have solid bookkeeping experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with QuickBooks or similar software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles and practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and bookkeeping systems.
• Record accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Process invoices, payments, deposits, and other financial transactions.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and assist with collections and payment follow-up.
• Prepare routine financial reports and summaries for management.
• Maintain organized records of receipts, expenses, invoices, and other financial documentation.
• Assist with payroll-related bookkeeping and record keeping as needed.
• Assist with monthly and year-end financial closing activities.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
• Maintain confidentiality of company financial information.
• Communicate with management, vendors, and other parties regarding financial matters.
• Provide general administrative and accounting support as needed.
