Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience with power plant products/technology preferred.
• Proficiency in thermal fluid sciences and/or process engineering.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed thermo-fluid design analysis on utility and industrial steam generation systems.
• Serve as lead boiler process engineer on proposals, studies or contracts.
• Prepare drawings, documents, and visual aids to support other departments.
• Design economical and efficient steam generation systems including required auxiliary equipment.
• Complete ASME Section I code calculations for headers, tubing and piping during proposals.
• Perform basic design tasks and author routine technical reports.
• Participate in engineering of routine OEM and Service contracts and proposals.
• Interact with external customers, A/Es, vendors, and/sublet engineers.
