Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Examiner - Bodily Injury to analyze and process complex auto and commercial transportation bodily injury claims. You will review coverage, investigate liability, and evaluate damages to reach timely resolutions for clients.

Ideal candidates have five years of claims management experience, a preferred Bachelor's degree, and professional certifications. The role offers flexible/remote work with competitive benefits and a starting salary range of $80,000 to $85,000 per

Qualifications

• Five years of claims management experience or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication, PC literate, and ability to work in a team.
• Secure and maintain state adjusting licenses as required.

Responsibilities

• Processes complex auto, commercial and personal line claims, including bodily injury.
• Responsible for the litigation process on litigated claims.
• Coordinates vendor management, including independent adjusters for investigation.
• Reports large claims to excess carrier(s).
• Develops action plans to meet state contact deadlines and resolve files promptly.
• Identifies subrogation and risk transfer opportunities; handles salvage.
• Communicates claim actions with insured, client, and broker as appropriate.
• Performs other duties and supports the organization's quality programs.
