Sedgwick, a leading risk and claims solutions company, seeks an experienced claims examiner to analyze and process auto bodily injury and commercial transportation claims. You will review coverage, investigate liability, and determine damages while meeting client requirements and service expectations.

Qualifications

• Five years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Professional certification relevant to line of business preferred.
• Secure and maintain state adjusting licenses as required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Processes complex auto, commercial, and personal line claims, including bodily injury; ensure proper documentation and coding.
• Responsible for litigation process on litigated claims.
• Coordinates vendor management, including independent adjusters for investigations.
• Reports large claims to excess carriers.
• Develops action plans to meet state contact deadlines and move files to resolution.
• Identifies and pursues subrogation and risk transfer opportunities; disposes of salvage.
• Communicates claim actions with insured, client, and agents/brokers as appropriate.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Supports the organization's quality programs.
