Job summary

Consensys seeks a senior architect to design and align distributed blockchain infrastructure across sequencer, proving stack, interop, and privacy components. You will translate complex institutional requirements into concrete architectures and drive technical ADRs and PoCs.

You will ship real designs, lead reviews, and guide teams toward secure, scalable production deployments, leveraging Ethereum/EVM knowledge and a hands-on, results-driven approach.

Qualifications

• Has designed distributed systems and built them, hands-on, in modern languages.
• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Knowledge of Ethereum and EVM is preferred or easily reachable.
• Clear written communication of architecture decisions.

Responsibilities

• Architect and integrate platform components across sequencer, prover, interop, and privacy layers.
• Turn client requirements into scalable architectural designs with ADRs.
• Lead PoCs, design reviews, and architectural decisions.
• Balance build vs. buy while optimizing cost and risk.
• Communicate confidently with institutional architects and stakeholders.
