Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Blade Lead Technician to supervise blade repair contractor teams and perform repairs at laydown yards. The role emphasizes safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets and requires proactive leadership with blade maintenance expertise.

Responsibilities include coordinating with site teams, managing daily operations, and interfacing with GE Vernova Service Engineering. Travel between Pawnee and Garden City yards is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or GED with blade repair experience as stated.
• Minimum 2 years in blade repairs.
• Willingness to travel between Pawnee and Garden City laydown yards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety policies and ensure PPE usage on site.
• Supervise blade repair procedures and verify quality checks.
• Coordinate with site teams, GE Vernova EHS, HR, and Engineering.
• Directly perform repairs when teams cannot complete them.
