Placements24 is seeking a Biotechnology Research Associate for a remote-first R&D role. You will perform molecular biology experiments, analyze data, and contribute to gene function studies and product development from your home office.

This position requires 2+ years in biotech labs, a Bachelor’s or Master’s in a related field, strong communication, and comfort collaborating with a distributed team via virtual platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on laboratory experience in a research setting.
• Proficiency in standard molecular biology techniques and relevant laboratory equipment.
• Familiarity with data analysis software and interpretation of biological data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Perform molecular biology techniques such as PCR, cloning, sequencing, and cell culture.
• Design and execute experiments to test hypotheses related to gene function and protein interactions.
