Job summary

Oruka Therapeutics seeks a Biosample Operations Associate to manage clinical trial biospecimens across the lifecycle. You will liaise with sites, central labs, and vendors to ensure accurate transfer, tracking, and documentation of samples, upholding data quality and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in clinical research or biosample operations, strong organization, and experience coordinating multi-site studies in a dynamic biotech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Biotechnology, Clinical Research, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in clinical research, clinical trial operations, biosample management, or related field.
• Experience with central laboratories, CROs, or clinical trial vendors.
• Understanding of biospecimen collection, processing, storage, shipment, and tracking workflows.
• Knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and clinical trial operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate biospecimen management across clinical studies.
• Oversee sample collection, shipment, receipt, processing, and storage with external labs.
• Maintain chain-of-custody documentation throughout the lifecycle.
• Track inventories and reconcile records across sites and labs.
• Support development of biosample management tools and SOPs.
