Job summary

Edmentum is seeking a Full Time Virtual Biology Teacher to deliver live, on-camera instruction for students across the United States. You will bring biology concepts to life in a fully online classroom, personalize learning, and support families and partner schools.

Candidates must hold a state Biology 6-12 teaching license and a Bachelor's in Education or related field; experience with online learning platforms and strong on-camera presence are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• Active state teaching license in Biology grades 6-12 (preferred in NJ, IN, PA, IA, OH).
• Experience teaching in virtual and/or in-person settings; capable on-camera instruction.

Responsibilities

• Deliver live, on-camera synchronous instruction for five or more hours per day on scheduled instructional days.
• Personalize instruction using student performance data; identify gaps and adapt teaching approach.
• Provide timely, meaningful feedback and maintain accurate records for families and students.
• Build relationships with students and families through professional communication and collaboration with partner schools.
