Job summary

Fladger Associates seeks a Scientist III in the Ridgefield, CT area with remote options. You will design and deploy NGS analytics workflows, interpret diverse omics data, and create visualizations to support target discovery in immune diseases.

The role demands strong programming in R/Python, experience with scRNA-seq, ATAC-Seq, and multi-omics integration, and the ability to communicate results across a cross-disciplinary team. Remote work is available within the US.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related scientific discipline with 1+ years of experience OR Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years in STEM.
• Experience with NGS analysis, functional genomics, statistics for big data, or multi-omics data integration.
• Strong knowledge of bioinformatics databases and data formats.
• Deep understanding of computational methods for NGS analysis and public data resources.
• Proficiency in programming in R, Python, Shiny; UNIX/Linux; scripting; cloud computing; visualization tools; and R/Bioconductor packages.
• Proven ability to write well-structured, documented code.
• Ability to collaborate with computational biologists to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy NGS data analysis workflows for data processing, visualization, integration and mining.
• Analyze omics data sets (bulk RNA-seq, scRNA-seq, ATAC-Seq) and interpret results.
• Develop data visualization solutions using R Shiny, D3, and other tools.
• Integrate diverse multi-omics datasets to identify drug targets and immune-disease insights.
• Benchmark methods, perform QC, and apply innovative analysis approaches.
• Present analysis results to coworkers and collaborators; write protocols and reports.
• Automate data processing and reporting; maintain data integrity and SOP compliance.
