Job summary

Aequor is seeking a Scientist III to lead bioinformatics and computational biology efforts. This remote role focuses on designing and deploying NGS analysis workflows to support therapeutic target discovery and biomarker research.

You will work with multi-omics data, build visualizations, and communicate findings across teams. Required are strong programming skills (R, Python, Shiny), experience with NGS, and a PhD/masters with relevant experience or a Bachelor’s with substantial STEM

Qualifications

• Experience analyzing NGS data and multi-omics data integration.
• Strong programming skills in R, Python, and Shiny.
• Experience in pharmaceutical research and immunological disease a plus.
• Master’s degree with 1+ year or Bachelor’s with 7+ years in a STEM field.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and deploy NGS data analysis workflows for target ID.
• Analyze omics data sets (bulk RNA-seq, scRNA-seq, ATAC-Seq).
• Develop data visualization using R Shiny and D3.
• Integrate multi-omics data to identify drug targets and biomarkers.
• Benchmark methods, perform QC, and report results.
