Job summary

Battelle is seeking a Bioinformatics Program Manager within our Health Research and Analytics Business Line. The role is remote with a preference for Crystal City, VA or Columbus, OH on a hybrid schedule, and periodic travel to Columbus and the DC area is required.

You will lead bioinformatics programs with AI integration, manage multi‑million dollar federal contracts, and build teams and processes to achieve capture excellence while ensuring compliance with federal requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in bioinformatics or technical field with progressive responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of health/biomedical analytics and AI for predictive analytics.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Provide program leadership for Bioinformatics with AI integration.
• Capture and manage federal contract opportunities and grow capture teams.
• Oversee programs totaling $10M+ in compliance with federal requirements.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
• Develop compliant, innovative solutions for proposals and management plans.
