Natera is seeking a Bioinformatics Manager to lead a team of bioinformaticians and data scientists in Oncology Product Development, focusing on ctDNA-based diagnostic tests. The role requires cross-functional collaboration and technical leadership across development, validation and launch.

You will oversee project milestones, optimize analysis pipelines, and mentor staff while contributing to IP and high-quality documentation. Remote work from the USA is supported.

Qualifications

• Experience with Python or R for scientific data analysis and visualization.
• Strong foundation in statistical modeling and machine learning, including estimation.
• Experience with next-generation sequencing data analysis and algorithm development.
• Ability to apply mathematical principles to real estimation problems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience leading technical projects and ensuring deliverables.
• Excellent communication in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical leadership for product development projects by representing the bioinformatics team.
• Lead optimization of analysis workflows and pipelines for diagnostic tests.
• Supervise bioinformatics and data science staff and manage resources.
• Advise on experiment design, analysis and interpretation based on domain knowledge.
• Work independently with high responsibility and contribute to IP.
• Set standards for rigorous data analysis and produce quality documentation.
