Natera, Inc. invites an experienced Director of Data Science and Bioinformatics to shape and grow the bioinformatics function within the data science team.

You will lead a talented group, defining strategy and standards for biology-driven algorithms powering our clinical products. You will architect scalable AWS cloud infrastructure, implement MLOps frameworks, and ensure high-quality, reproducible genomic pipelines for NGS-based workflows, with a focus on Women’s Health and Organ Health

Competenze

• 10+ years in Data Science or Bioinformatics, with 5+ years by leading technical teams
• Hands-on AWS cloud infra experience for data-intensive bioinformatics workloads
• Experience building scalable, validated genomic pipelines for clinical products
• Ability to drive capability gaps, build infra, and deliver without heavy structure
• Strong communicator with cross-functional alignment across Research, Engineering and Quality

Mansioni

• Define and grow the Bioinformatics function within the Data Science team
• Architect scalable AWS-based data science and bioinformatics infrastructure for NGS algorithms
• Implement MLOps tooling and automated validation for clinical deployment
• Lead, mentor, and hire senior bioinformaticians and data scientists
