Job summary

Amteck is seeking a Building Information Modeling (BIM) Technician to support construction and engineering teams through advanced 3D modeling. The candidate will create and maintain accurate BIM models, perform clash detection, and generate construction documentation. Proficiency in BIM software like Revit and a solid understanding of electrical practices are essential. The position is eligible to be fully remote or located at the Lexington, KY HQ or Greenville, SC office.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Evolve, ACC, Solidworks, or Navisworks.
• Ability to create detailed 2D drawings from 3D models.
• Sound understanding of construction methods and terminology, building codes, and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Creating and updating detailed 3D models of electrical systems using BIM software.
• Integrating design information from various disciplines into the 3D model.
• Identifying and resolving spatial conflicts or clashes between different building components.
