Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is looking for a Building Information Modeling (BIM) Technician to enhance our construction and engineering teams through advanced 3D modeling and coordination. The position involves creating and maintaining accurate BIM models, performing clash detection, and generating documentation to support project planning. Ideal candidates will have proficiency in BIM software such as Revit and excellent communication skills. This position is available fully remote or based in Lexington, KY or Greenville, SC.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using various BIM software and creating detailed 2D drawings.
• Sound understanding of construction methods, building codes, and industry standards.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Creating and updating detailed 3D models of electrical systems using BIM software.
• Integrating design information from various disciplines into the 3D model.
• Identifying and resolving spatial conflicts between building components.
• Generating drawings, schedules, and visualizations from the BIM model.

Skills

Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Evolve, ACC, Solidworks, or Navisworks

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
