Qualifications

About the Role

Our client, an innovative leader in digital construction solutions, is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Remote BIM Coordinator to join their globally distributed team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere in South Africa. You will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and managing Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes across various high-profile construction projects. Your role will involve ensuring the integrity and coordination of BIM models, facilitating clash detection, and supporting the seamless integration of digital technologies throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of BIM software and workflows, coupled with strong communication skills for effective remote collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement BIM execution plans and standards for projects.
• Coordinate and manage multi-disciplinary BIM models (architectural, structural, MEP, etc.).

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other relevant platforms.
• Strong understanding of the BIM process, standards (e.g., ISO 19650), and industry best practices.
• Experience with clash detection, model aggregation, and quality control for BIM.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting.
