Sedgwick is hiring a Billing Specialist for a US telecommuter, part-time schedule (Tuesday–Saturday 11am–8pm EST). The role focuses on monitoring payments for standard and complex outstanding receivables and ensuring accurate billing processes across multiple accounts.

Two years of billing or accounting experience are required, with strong knowledge of billing systems and data flows in medical bills. Excellent communication and office software skills are essential.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of accounting, bookkeeping or insurance related billing experience required.
• Excel or equivalent data entry experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Contacts broker/account on payment discrepancies and unpaid bills to resolve receivables.
• Processes and corrects external entries.
• Researches payment deficiencies and reconciles outstanding invoices; disburses overpayments on true-up invoices.
• Independently reviews and interprets sold documentation and completes billing setup.
• Prepares monthly updates for management reports.
