Lydecker LLP is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to support our billing process in a remote environment. Must be located in Florida and able to work independently with strong follow-up skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with high-volume follow-up and tracking workflows.
• Experience in administrative, operations, insurance, healthcare, collections, or compliance roles is a plus.
• Strong ability to work remotely with accountability.
• Experience using spreadsheets or tracking tools to manage workflows.

Responsibilities

• Manage and track billing-related tasks from initiation through resolution
• Follow up via phone and email with internal teams and external parties
• Escalate to ensure deadlines are met through organized tracking
• Accurately document communications and updates in firm systems
• Maintain billing status reports and logs using Excel and internal programs
• Work independently while remaining accountable to leadership
