Simera is seeking a Billing Specialist to manage customer invoices from creation to posting, verify pricing, taxes, discounts, and ensure accurate, on-time billing in a remote work environment. You will monitor outstanding balances and respond to inquiries while coordinating with Finance, Sales, and Accounts Receivable.

Ideal candidates have prior billing or AR experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with ERP software.

Qualifications

• Prior billing or AR experience is required.
• Strong Excel or spreadsheet skills are essential.
• Experience with ERP or accounting software is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, review, and issue customer invoices accurately and on time.
• Verify billing information, pricing, quantities, discounts, and taxes.
• Process billing adjustments, credits, refunds, and account corrections.
• Monitor outstanding invoices, payment status, and customer account balances.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and invoice-related issues.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding charges and payments.
• Coordinate with Finance, Sales, and Accounts Receivable teams.
• Reconcile billing records with accounting systems.
• Prepare billing reports and aging information for management.
• Assist with month-end and year-end billing activities.
