Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Full-Time Billing and Follow-Up Specialist to support a Revenue Operations PBS location. This remote role handles day-to-day billing, follow-up on government and non-government accounts, and collaborates with hospital departments to resolve discrepancies.

You will train junior staff, report to a Supervisor Billing & Follow-Up, and ensure timely and accurate claim resolution while maintaining Trinity Health's mission and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or Associate's degree in Accounting or Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum of three (3) or more years' direct experience in revenue cycle functions in healthcare settings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Performs billing and follow-up for a PBS location to maximize reimbursements.
• Identifies issues, escalates billing problems, and communicates with hospital departments to resolve discrepancies.
• Trains and mentors Billing & Follow-Up staff, and ensures compliance with policies.
