Job summary

Ledgent is seeking a detail-oriented Billing & Data Analyst Clerk to support physician billing, provider data management, and reporting for a growing healthcare team.

The role involves reviewing provider information and billing records, analyzing large datasets with advanced Excel functions, and maintaining data accuracy. You will audit payer reports, collaborate with contracting and finance teams, and contribute to process improvements in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of accounting, billing, enrollment, or healthcare administration experience.
• Advanced Excel skills with PivotTables and VLOOKUPs.
• Ability to analyze and reconcile large datasets.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Healthcare billing or provider enrollment experience is a plus but not required.
• Fast learner with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Review provider information, billing records, claims, contracts, and network participation data
• Compare and analyze multiple spreadsheets using advanced Excel formulas
• Enter and maintain physician and billing data with a high level of accuracy
• Research discrepancies and assist with resolving billing and provider data issues
• Audit payer reports and prepare reporting to ensure provider network accuracy
• Partner with contracting and finance teams to identify financial impacts of discrepancies
• Support ongoing data management and process improvement initiatives
