American Income Life is seeking a bilingual Customer Retention Representative to support policyholders seeking cancellations or with lapsing policies. This remote, full- and part-time role focuses on understanding customer needs and offering retention options while delivering empathetic service.

You will work in a fast-paced contact center, using clear communication, recording interactions, and staying current on life insurance products.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish with fluent reading, writing and speaking ability.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Minimum typing speed of 30 wpm.
• Call center experience preferred.
• Insurance and/or sales experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound cancellation requests and explore retention options.
• Proactively contact customers with lapsed policies to discuss solutions.
• Assess policyholder needs and recommend appropriate coverage adjustments.
• Build relationships with policyholders through clear, empathetic communication.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and outcomes in company systems.
• Stay current on life insurance products and company procedures.
• Adapt communication style to each customer and follow up as needed.
