Job summary

Jacoby & Meyers is seeking a Litigation Assistant - Discovery to join our team. This role supports discovery processes, communicates with clients, and helps manage legal documents and filings.

The position is fully remote with a focus on handling discovery tasks for personal injury litigation. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of PI experience, bilingual English/Spanish, and a strong ability to work independently or within a team.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• 2–5 years of Personal Injury litigation experience.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Paralegal Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with clients to obtain information/prepare discovery responses.
• Prepare and send out supplemental discovery responses as needed.
• Manage incoming emails, regular mail, and faxes.
• Maintain and update file management software.
• Provide clients with regular status updates during litigation.
• Draft various legal documents and judicial forms as requested by handling attorney.
• Generate weekly/monthly reports for team meetings.
• Prepare discovery binders for senior trial attorneys.
• Other duties as assigned by lead trial attorneys.
