Job summary

Jacoby & Meyers Accident & Injury Lawyers seeks a Litigation Assistant - Discovery for a fully remote position. You will work with clients to gather information and prepare discovery responses, manage communications, and draft legal documents under the guidance of senior attorneys.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of Personal Injury litigation experience, a Bachelor's degree, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with depositions, templates, motions on Plaintiff side.
• Bachelor's degree required; paralegal certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with clients to obtain information/prepare discovery responses.
• Prepare and send out supplemental discovery responses as needed.
• Manage incoming emails, regular mail, and faxes.
• Maintain and update file management software.
• Provide clients with regular status updates during litigation.
• Follow up with clients regarding settlement releases.
• Draft legal documents and judicial forms as requested by handling attorney.
• Generate weekly/monthly reports for team meetings.
• Prepare discovery binders for senior trial attorneys.
